Delivery: We offer merchandise drop-off at no charge, as well as out of town drop off up to an apprx. 200km radius.  For deluxe delivery, which includes unpacking and positioning of merchandise in your home, there is a $69.00-$100.00 delivery charge.  Contact store for an accurate delivery charge, and to inquire if delivery is available to your area. Merchandise not in stock for immediate delivery will be ordered from the manufacturer with a tentative delivery date.  Delivery dates are agreed to in good faith, however, they are subject to availability from the manufacturer.  In the case of a delay, we will do our best to keep you informed of the status of your delivery.  An approximate delivery time is available through our delivery department.  (A time window is approximate, due to road conditions and unexpected delays beyond our control).  If a delivery date is not set up at the time of sale, you will be contacted and a delivery date will be confirmed.  We get ready for your delivery in advance, therefore we require 2 days notice if you need to cancel or change your delivery date, or you will be charged the delivery fee, plus an additional fee to return to your home at a later date.  We do not accept COD's on delivery.  Balances must be paid in full at the store prior to delivery of your merchandise.  Please ensure that all walkways and entrance ways to your home are clear prior to delivery (example: snow and ice) for the safety of our delivery personnel and your furniture.  Our delivery staff have an obligation to postpone delivery due to unsafe conditions based on their judgement.  On rare occasions, if a piece of furniture is a tight fit to get into your space, we will ask you to approve the attempt to fit your furnishings, on the understanding that we cannot be held responsible for any damages that might occur.  We trust you understand and appreciate these conditions. 

Exchanges and Returns:  All sales are final and merchandise is not returnable, however, at the seller's option, an exchange privilege may be exercised by the buyer within 48 hours of the date of sale, on regular priced furniture, subject to a restocking/cancellation fee of 25% of purchase price.  You are responsible to return the items in good condition, or pay a delivery fee for our staff to pick up the item.  Custom orders, clearance items, appliances, electronics, mattresses, bed linens and mattress protectors cannot be returned/exchanged and fees for extended service plans and for delivery/administration costs will not be refunded.

Custom Orders and Deposits: A custom order is made lust for you, therefore, must be paid in full at point of sale.  At the seller's discretion, a 50% deposit may be accepted (on in-store purchases).  On all in-store orders of regular merchandise, a 50% deposit is required at point of sale,  with balance due before delivery/pick-up.

Storage or Layaway:  Delivery of in-stock merchandise must be taken within 14 days, unless otherwise agreed upon at Seller's discretion.  All other merchandise can be laid away under the following conditions;

-20% of the purchase price is to be paid at the time of purchase

-50% required before item is ordered (on non-stock merchandise)

-100% required within 3 months of purchase.

Pick-up's and Damaged Product:  To pick up your merchandise, please contact our office staff at least 1 day in advance so that we may prepare your order.  You are responsible to bring materials such as rope, tarps, blankets, etc to secure and protect your items during a pick up.  Damaged caused during handling and transport of "pick up" items is not covered by the manufacturer's warranties, or any extended warranties.  We need to be notified of any damaged to your furniture within 48 hours of delivery/pick-up.  Call our service team and they will schedule an appointment to inspect your furniture.  After inspection, they will repair the damage if possible, or will replace if they cannot repair the piece.  Most manufacturers' warranties suggest repair before replace, and we support that.  We cannot accept responsibility for any damages that are brought to our attention after the initial 48 hours.

Price Guarantee:  We have a 30 day price guarantee on any of the merchandise you see in our store.  If you see the identical item advertised for a lower price, under the same terms and conditions within 30 days of purchase, we will refund the difference to you on an AHF gift card. 

Warranty: We will guarantee your furniture against manufacturers defects in workmanship and materials for one year from the date of purchase.  Repair, replacements or refund is at our discretion.  Manufacturer warranties for longer than 1 year are honoured through your retailer and we will repair, replace or refund as directed by the manufacturer.  Warranties apply only to furniture subject to normal use in the home and not to defects that are a result of negligence, misuse, or accidents, nor is it valid if the furniture is used in a commercial, industrial or institutional setting.  Manufacturers do not warranty minor flaws or marks discernable only upon the very closest examination.

-Upholstery warranty: Upholstery is warrantied to the initial customer, for one year against manufacturer defects.  Manufacturers of upholstery fabrics do not warranty for wearability or colorfastness.  We endeavor to sell only the best fabrics, based on the information from suppliers and personal experience, but we regret that we cannot honour adjustments, claims or credits for theses properties.  Fading, piling, and shading are characteristics of certain types of fabrics and are not defects.  Seat cushions may slip or shift slightly around foam cores and are not covered by warranty.  Regular cushion rotation will reduce this problem.

Casegoods warranty: Case goods are guaranteed for one year against manufacturers defects.  It is the nature of wood to have knots, mineral deposits, worm holes and unusual grain patterns.  They are inherent to wood and are not defective unless they interfere with the product giving satisfactory service.

Bedding warranty:  Bedding sold as a set (mattress and boxspring) are warrantied to the initial customers, for one year against manufacturers defect.  Warranties vary from 1 year to 20 years, either pro-rated or non, so please see retailer for more details.  Bedding warranties do not imply the expected life of the unit.  Manufacturers will not warranty mattresses that have been stained, therefore, use of a mattress protector is highly recommended.

Appliance warranty:  Appliances are covered by a factory warranty.  A card detailing the warranty is packed with each appliance and is honoured by all the manufacturer's approved service depots.

All Refunds, Price Match Refunds, etc, will be issued on an AHF gift card as an in-store credit.

A $25.00 administration fee will be charged if you require us to retrieve a copy of any old documentation.

There are no promises, terms, conditions, obligations or warranties authorized by the Seller or his agents, other than those contained herein, unless otherwise noted and initialed by the Seller.
